Apertura's compact standmount, built with the same engineering as its larger siblings. A 16 cm "Isotactic Matrix" mid/woofer of woven polypropylene combines stiffness, lightness and excellent damping, with a long voice coil for generous linear excursion — remarkable for a speaker of this size. A 25 mm "Ring Radiator" dome tweeter with waveguide and rear damping chamber extends the treble beyond 40 kHz. The proprietary "DRIM" crossover with triple attenuation slopes cancels intermodulation; each driver pair is measured and matched individually and hand-wired on a 140 µm copper circuit board. The braced, multi-cavity cabinet uses bass-reflex loading and two different damping materials to cancel standing waves. Price per pair.
