Projection

Bring an exceptional cinematic experience home with the Sony BRAVIA Projector 9. Its native 4K SXRD panel delivers 3,840 × 2,160 resolution, while a long-lasting laser light source provides up to 3,400 lumens for vibrant images, even on a large screen. Advanced Crisp-Focused (ACF) optics and Sony’s XR Processor for projector reveal fine textures and compelling depth, with clear, bright 4K viewing for up to 20,000 hours. Designed for richly nuanced HDR, XR Dynamic Tone Mapping optimises brightness frame by frame, while XR Deep Black enhances dark scenes without sacrificing colour expression or specular highlights. XR Clear Image refines textures and minimises noise, bringing films to life with striking clarity and smooth tonal gradations. XR TRILUMINOS PRO draws on a palette of over a billion colours, complemented by Wide Dynamic Range optics covering 95% of the DCI-P3 cinema colour gamut. Live Color Enhancer selectively enriches colour for vivid HDR images without unnatural oversaturation, preserving natural skin tones alongside luminous highlights and deep blacks. A compact, 14 kg design offers flexible installation, with cinematic colour and gamma settings configured out of the box and extensive calibration options available. Picture Position Memory stores lens focus, zoom and shift settings for up to five screen formats, while 4K/120 fps support and Auto Low Latency Mode extend the experience to responsive gaming.
