The Cambridge Audio Evo 150 SE is an enhanced special edition of the award-winning Evo streaming amplifier, bringing powerful amplification and the StreamMagic streaming platform together in one elegant, customisable enclosure. Designed and built in London, it combines authentic hi-fi performance with effortless everyday convenience: simply add loudspeakers. Developed in close collaboration with Hypex, its NCOREx ‘Tuned by Cambridge’ Class D amplification delivers 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with the power to drive all but the most demanding loudspeakers. Refinements throughout the audio signal path, informed by hundreds of hours of listening, bring greater detail, openness and musical engagement. The StreamMagic app adds a seven-band equaliser, listening presets and manual room-optimisation tools to tailor the sound to your preferences and surroundings. Fourth-generation StreamMagic provides direct access to Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz, UPnP and Internet Radio over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, alongside Roon Ready support. Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and Google Cast offer further wireless flexibility, with multiroom compatibility through Google Home, Apple AirPlay and Roon. Extensive wired connectivity makes Evo 150 SE a versatile centrepiece for music and television. HDMI ARC connects your TV, an MM phono stage welcomes a turntable, and RCA line and balanced XLR inputs accommodate analogue sources. Optical, coaxial and USB connections feed an ESS SABRE ES9018k2m DAC, while dedicated subwoofer and preamplifier outputs provide scope to expand your system.
